The 43rd Conference of the South African National Council for the Blind takes place in Cape Town, from 07 to 13 October 2019 at the Garden Court Nelson Mandela Boulevard. The theme of the Conference is “Changing the Face of Being Blind” and the Order Paper will address all important topics that affect the daily lives of its constituents.

The Quadrennial Conference is also known as the ‘Parliament for the Blind’ and it is the forum at which our constituency has the opportunity every four years to share information and debate important focal areas that affect the lives of visually impaired South Africans.

It is anticipated that the conference will be attended by some 250 delegates and participants from the governance structures of the organisation, representatives from its 90 member organisations, special guests, management and organising team.
